    北方防沙带露天矿区生态保护与修复研究前瞻

    Prospective research on ecological protection and restoration of open pit mining areas in the northern sand prevention belts

    • 摘要: 北方防沙带是我国防治沙化和荒漠化的关键地带,区内干旱缺水,土壤瘠薄、沙化盐渍化严重且大型露天煤矿采剥量巨大,对岩土环境扰动剧烈、影响范围大,煤炭露天开发与生态保护矛盾突出。以北方防沙带面积和露天煤矿产量占比最大的内蒙古大型露天矿区为研究对象,坚持标本兼治的系统工程思想,按照“减损开采-立体保水-造土活土-系统修复-集成监管”的研究思路,采用“理论研究→技术研发→装备研制→集成示范→推广应用”全链条融合的技术路线,揭示北方防沙带大型露天矿区生态退化机理、减损开采和生态自维持机制等关键科学问题,研发并创建北方防沙带大型露天矿区生态减损与保护修复技术体系,实现大型露天煤矿区生态系统的减损开采、科学修复、精准管控和自我维持,构建生态保护型煤炭基地和北方重要生态安全屏障。

       

      Abstract: BackgroundThe northern sand prevention belts is a key area for combating desertification and sandification in China. Within this region, there is a severe shortage of water resources, and the soil is barren with serious problems of desertification and salinization. Additionally, large - scale open - pit coal mines in the area have massive stripping volumes, which cause intense disturbances to the geotechnical environment and affect a wide range. As a result, the contradiction between open - pit coal development and ecological protection is prominent. MethodsTaking the large - scale open - pit mining areas in Inner Mongolia, which have the largest area in the northern sand prevention belt and the highest proportion of open - pit coal output, as the research object, we adhere to the systematic engineering concept of addressing both the symptoms and the root causes. We follow the research idea of "loss - reducing mining → three - dimensional water conservation → soil creation and activation → systematic restoration → integrated supervision" and adopt the technical route of integrating the whole chain of "theoretical research → technology research and development → equipment development → integrated demonstration → promotion and application". ResultsWe aim to reveal key scientific issues such as the ecological degradation mechanism, loss - reducing mining and ecological self - maintenance mechanism in large - scale open - pit mining areas of the morthern sand prevention belt, and research and develop a technical system for ecological loss reduction and protection and restoration in large - scale open - pit mining areas of the northern sand prevention belt. ConclusionThis will realize loss - reducing mining, scientific restoration, precise management and control, and self - maintenance of the ecosystem in large - scale open - pit coal mining areas, and build an ecological protection - oriented coal base and an important ecological security barrier in northern China.
