Abstract: Condensation water is a form of precipitation, and it is also an important link in the regional water cycle. However, because of its small amount, it is usually neglected in the water research.Through summarizing the significance, status, problem of the studies on condensation water, we found that previous studies focused on amount of condensation water, impact factors, and lasting time ofcondensation; however, studies on distinguishing the condensation water from different vapor resources, and the numerical simulation are relatively few. Therefore studies on the formation mechanism ofcondensation water and its impact on the plant growth need further efforts.
