Abstract: The water-level-fluctuating zone(WLFZ) of suburban reservoir should not only protect the water resources,but also meet the requirements of the ecological landscape.Based on the monographic study on Shenzhen's water conservation forest and the result of the screening test of the suitable plants for the WLFZ,this paper proposes the technical system of vegetation restoration in the WLFZ of reservoirs.Trees and herbaceous vegetation cultivated in normal water level line downward 3m,herbaceous vegetation cultivated in normal water level line downward 3-6 m,simultaneously a combination of the biological drainage ditch,the reverse terrace & the reverse scale pit with eco-bag and other auxiliary engineering measures may provide ways for ecological reconstruction of the WLFZ of reservoirs.
