Abstract: Slope revegetation technology is widely used in the revegetation engineering of barren slope in(recent)years.The revegetation effect estimation and community maintenance are the theoretical and technical(issues,)which should be resolved as quickly as possible in the practice of slope revegetation engineering in our country.In this paper,the author discussed the necessity of revegetation effect estimation and the significance of following investigation of vegetation community by comparing the development of slope revegetation techniques in China and abroad,which can help the slope revegetation engineering realize its multi-functions.The vegetation community should be maintained and managed effectively towards the revegetation objective,through which the plant community could develop towards the goal community,and the slope vegetation could fully play a multi-functions.
