    Biomechanical character of the herbaceous plant roots for slope stabilization

    • 摘要: 为探讨草本植物根系的固土性能,选择8种不同的草本植物作为试验材料,通过力学试验测定草本植物根系的最大抗拉力以及最大抗拉力作用下的根系断裂直径,从而计算出植物根系的最大抗拉强度。对不同草本植物的根系固土性能的力学试验比较,结果表明:不同植物根系具有不同的抗拉强度,狼尾草的平均抗拉强度(26.46MPa)最大,往后依次为小冠花(25.03 MPa),白三叶(22.01 MPa),野牛草(20.93 MPa),高羊茅(15.84 MPa),紫花苜蓿(15.82 MPa),狗牙根(14.54 MPa),狗尾莩(11.99 MPa)。

       

      Abstract: Eight herbaceous plants were chosen for the study of soil-reinforcement experiments.The maximum strength of herb roots and the corresponding root diameters were measured.Then the tensile strength was calculated on the basis of the measurement,which was used as a criterion for comparison of various roots for soil-reinforcement.The results indicate that the average tensile strength of Pennisetum alopecuroides (Linn.)Spreng is the greatest,26.46MPa,followed by Cornilla varia L,25.03MPa,Trfolium Reports L,22.01MPa,Buchloe dacyloides Engelm,20.93MPa,Fes-tuca arundinacea Schreb,15.84MPa,Medicago sativa,15.82MPa,Cynodon dactylom (L).Pers,14.54MPa,and Setaria viridis,11.99MPa.
