Abstract: Planting Material Spraying (PMS)technique is a new technique in slope vegetation protection,with good performance and popularization value.Combined with examples of PMS technique application,the paper elaborates on its characteristics,advantages and construction technique.Through over two years,observation,it was very successful in the application of rocky slopes on Section A of Mountain Xuelang in Wuxi City.It realized the aims of rapidly restoring ecological environment of slopes and had ideal effects on greening landscape,and was finally highly evaluated by specialists.The practice proves that PMS solves the longstanding problems with protecting the ecological balance of the abandoned quarry and is worthy of active popularization and application.
