Abstract: Based on analyzing the existing situation and problems of soil and water conservation monitoring in the Yellow River Basin,the direction and objective for capacity building were identified.Several activities were launched to enhance the capacity of soil and water conservation monitoring,such as building the multi-source data exchange and sharing mechanism,setting up the regulations and standards for data acquisition and management,developing the methodology for data treatment and analysis.
