Abstract
Standardization can provide significant support and guarantee for the ecological development associated with the Great Green Wall as an important management tool and technical means. Many technical standards have been widely applied in fields such as desertification monitoring, vegetation restoration, ecological protection, industrial development, long-term ecosystem observation, and disaster prevention and reduction. It was effective in improving the quality and efficiency of engineering construction. This article systematically summarizes the implementation and effectiveness of forestry and grassland standards in the Great Green Wall, and identifies issues such as an imperfect standard system, poor integration of standard resources, inconsistent standards, weak implementation efforts, and low conversion rates of scientific and technological achievements. It analyzes the overall demand for standardization in terms of improving quality, transforming achievements, establishing product brands, and international cooperation in the context of high-quality development concepts and comprehensive management of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and deserts. The standardization innovation goals, implementation strategies, approach design ideas, and the key points of innovative construction on standard systems have been proposed, with the aim of providing reference for the implementation of forest and grass standardization in the construction of the Great Green Wall.
